First of all, it is certain that solder bars and welding rods are not the same thing. solder bars are a kind of product in soldering tin. The main components are alloys composed of tin, silver, copper, lead and other metals. According to environmental protection standards, they can be divided into lead Two kinds of tin bars and lead-free environmentally friendly tin bars are widely used in the electronics industry, and are generally used for circuit connection of integrated circuits or welding of small items on circuit boards. It has the advantages of wettability, good fluidity, easy tinning, strong oxidation resistance, bright and full solder joints, etc. Its working principle is that the crystal is heated and melted, and the welding process is realized with the help of welding equipment such as wave furnace and tin furnace.
After talking about the solder bar, let's take a look at the electrode. The electrode is a metal bar that is melted and filled at the joint of the welding workpiece during gas welding or electric welding. It is mainly composed of a coating and a welding core. By melting the coating and adding it into the weld as a filler metal, it becomes the main component of the weld metal. Such a substance is called a welding rod, also known as an electric welding rod. Regulations, especially for the content of harmful impurities (such as sulfur, phosphorus, etc.), should be strictly limited, superior to the base metal. The working principle of the electrode is that the crystal is melted by heat and high-voltage arc discharge. The arc force is used to melt the base metal and the electrode, and finally the weldment is brought together. There is dazzling light during work, which is harmful to eyes, so protection should be taken when welding.
