Melting point of lead-free tin wire

Lead-free tin wire is used for high temperature solder joints such as Luokou bulbs, and the melting point of lead-free tin wire is 217-227 degrees. As the melting temperature of the tin wire increases, the volatilization rate of the flux is also accelerated, which is likely to cause insufficient tin fluidity, resulting in tin tips, tin bridges or wire drawing, which seriously affect the soldering effect.
Lead-free solder wire price
First of all, there are two types of lead-free tin wires. One is lead-free and the other has lead. I won't go into details about lead-free and lead. The price of a roll of solder wire consists of several aspects.
1. Weight, a roll of solder wire is big or small, the small is less than 100 grams and the big is 800 grams, so the price is different in terms of weight.
2. Degree (that is, the tin content/degree that we often say), the higher the tin content, the higher the price (the lead-free tin content is more than 99%), and the tin content ranges from 10% to 99%. are different.
The calculation of the price of environmentally friendly solder wire is a bit different. The tin content of environmentally friendly solder wire is more than 99% and basically to 100%. Some companies' environmentally friendly solder wire is 800G/roll, which is based on his silver content. Copper content to calculate the price.
The difference between leaded tin wire and lead-free tin wire is as follows:
1. From the glossy appearance of tin: the surface of leaded solder looks bright white; lead-free solder is light yellow.
2. From the composition of metal alloys: leaded solder is two main metal elements containing tin and lead (such as Sn63Pb37, Sn50Pb50, etc.); lead-free solder is basically free of lead (EU ROHS standard is that the lead content is less than 500PPM, the Japanese standard is less than 100PPM), lead-free solder generally contains tin, silver or copper metal elements.
3. In terms of use: Leaded solder is used for the welding of leaded products, and the tools and components it uses are all leaded. Lead-free solder wire is used for welding products exported to Europe, America and other countries, and the tools and components it uses must be lead-free.
4. If you use the method of wiping by hand, you will leave black marks on your hands with lead, and light yellow marks without lead, because lead-free generally contains copper metal.
