Recently, many people are asking, if the solder paste is not tinned, everyone will find out whether the activity of the solder paste is too low, but some people will say that the more active the better, is it easy to tin? What I can tell you is that it is not to eat, why? The following solder paste manufacturers will explain to you:
Everyone knows that there are many additives in solder paste, one of which is called activator. The activator is the key solvent that determines the activity of solder paste. The activity of solder paste is related to the amount of activator added. Usually, tin with poor tinning ability Ointment is because the activity is too low. Some people may say, just add a little more activator, and it will be good to apply solder paste like this! Actually this is wrong.
The reason why the solder paste is not enough to cover the tin is that the activity of the solder paste is too low. Add more active agents when making the solder paste, and the solder paste can solve the problem. But isn’t more active better? The answer is obviously not, because active agents are corrosive chemicals. The active agent content in the solder paste is too high, tin has a good effect on the solder paste, but the solder paste is printed on the PCB, the PCB board will be corroded to a certain extent, and then the circuit will be damaged, and the life of the PCB board will be reduced if it is bad. If it goes bad, it will destroy the PCB board.
It can be seen that the activity of solder paste is not as high as possible, but moderate activity. In addition, the same is true for other additives in solder paste, and we cannot blindly pursue the effect of adding too much, while ignoring the adverse effects of excess.
