1. Solder paste printing quality control
The printer should be responsible for the quality of the solder paste on the printed boards, and cannot pull down the boards with tin, less tin, or more tin.
2. Steel mesh protection
Printers should be careful when using and installing the stencil. The mixing knife should not be placed on the stencil to prevent the stencil and the scraper from being damaged when the scraper is pressed down. Special attention should be paid to the placement of thimbles, and other sundries except thimbles cannot be placed under the steel mesh.
3. Stencil cleaning and storage
Every time you finish using the stencil, you should carefully clean the surface, sides, and stencil holes of the stencil, especially the stencil holes need to be cleaned with a toothbrush to prevent them from being blocked by solder paste and affecting tinning. The steel mesh should be stored on the steel mesh frame, and the side with the logo should face the outside for easy finding.
4. Use of solder paste
The use of solder paste should strictly follow the guidelines for the use of solder paste, and only one-third of the bottle can be placed on the stencil at a time. After 4 hours of printing, it is necessary to recycle and stir. Solder paste bottles should be scraped clean to prevent waste. When recycling the solder paste on the stencil and scraper, it is also necessary to pay attention to the complete recycling.
5. Misprinted plate cleaning
For the cleaning of misprinted boards, first use a mixing knife to scrape off the solder paste on the board surface, but be careful not to use too much force to prevent scratching the PCB, and then wipe the board surface with a cloth or paper dipped in board washing water, pay attention to wipe it clean . Then dry the PCB with an air gun. For PCBs with gold fingers, special attention should be paid not to immerse the board in the board washing water, only to wipe with a cloth or paper dipped in the board washing water, and not to wipe the gold finger part. Gold fingers should not be stuck with solder paste.
6. Printing machine cleaning
The printer should clean the printing machine at any time to keep the body clean, especially not to have solder paste or prints everywhere.
7. Steel mesh installation
For stencil installation, the printer should pay attention to one-time installation in place, and master the installation skills and methods, especially the fixing of PCB, which must be fixed well to increase the repeatability of printing.
8. Safe operation of equipment
For the use and safe operation of the printing machine, please refer to the equipment operation guide. In case of any abnormal situation, the emergency switch should be pressed immediately to prevent the machine from hurting people. Especially the scraper is sharp, the action should be gentle during the operation, and be careful not to be cut or crushed by the scraper when cleaning the stencil.
