The lead-free environmentally friendly
solder bar has been operated in the wave soldering furnace for a long time, and the impurities residues produced by the accumulation of other metals will increase, which will interfere with the welding effect of the lead-free environmentally friendly solder bar. The oxidation speed of the lead-free environmentally friendly solder bar is too fast, resulting in tin When the slag becomes more and the copper composition in the lead-free environmentally friendly solder bar exceeds the specified viscosity, the viscosity of the liquid tin of the solder bar will increase with the copper content, which will weaken the flowability of the lead-free environmentally friendly solder bar, and the surface of the welded solder joints will be rough. , thus affecting the reliability of the solder joints, at this time, it is necessary to replace the lead-free environmentally friendly solder bars.
Lead-free environmentally friendly tin bars should pay attention to the high temperature operation of the solder furnace: the tin liquid surface is shiny, and there is no need to scrape the solder slag on the soldering surface every time, so that the actual operation is good, the production efficiency is high, and the output is increased; components It is easy to apply tin and there is almost no tin slag attached to the bottom plate; after tinning, the surface of the pin is bright and smooth, and the appearance is good; there is less tin slag, which can reduce the cost of tin raw materials.
Then if it affects the tinning of the components and the tin in the wave furnace is abnormal, when the tin bar must be replaced, the following points should be paid attention to:
1. Turn on the control switch of the lower interface of the tin furnace to let the tin liquid flow out. Pay special attention to placing the tin tank under the outlet. Heat the tin furnace in wave soldering to make the environmentally friendly tin bar meet the melting temperature. Stop the motor and set the temperature of the tin furnace to about 280-300 degrees. Place cold water in the tank to make the environmentally friendly tin bars dissipate heat quickly, and pay special attention to being scalded when actually operating this action. When two-thirds of the tin liquid flows out, remove the motor to remove the obstacles above the tin furnace, and increase the temperature of the furnace to make the lead-free solder liquid flow out successfully.
2. The operation should be gentle when salvaging, so that the environmentally friendly tin bar can be successfully taken out of the wave soldering furnace. The heating tube of the wave soldering furnace is a key component of melting solder bar. Always check to see if there is any error between the temperature set by the soldering furnace and the actual temperature. The spray port of the flux should be checked and cleaned on time to check whether the spray is blocked and correct the flux. The channel is cleaned with industrial alcohol to ensure that the channel is unobstructed.
3. When cleaning the tin in the tin furnace, wait for the tin to flow out into the tin tank, pour out the tin block after the tin has cooled down, and add new lead-free environmentally friendly solder bars to the original tin furnace. It is generally recommended that the tin furnace or wave furnace Every 6 months, it is necessary to clean and replace the tin. The main reason is that the copper is corroded by the tin, forming an intermediary, which will gradually sink to the bottom of the tin tank, and the accumulation will not only hinder production but also damage the tin furnace accessories. If the tin is not changed, the copper content of tin will be higher and higher, and the tin-copper interlayer alloy formed will become brittle in physical properties, increase in melting point, poor contact, and poor wettability, which is extremely unfavorable to the soldering process.
